Spent two weeks out bush on a biodiversity survey (catching critters- identify critters-release critters). Reasonably rough track in, 4 hours on the Gibb river road then turn off onto the Backsten track for the 10 hour drive to cover the 200km. Lots of digging putting in pit traps and fence lines for the first two days. Then checking clearing and rebaiting for the next 8 days. Had a full moon that set just on sunrise, so out with the camera and tried to capture the moment. Have included some of the critters we caught - bandicoot, quoll, lizard and dunnart.
